Plan before you drive
City garages downtown charge $3 an hour with an $18 daily max at Fort Brooke, Poe, Pam Iorio and the Convention Center, or $2 with a $14 max at Twiggs, Centro Ybor and Palm Avenue. The next charging day starts at 6 a.m.
On event nights those garages switch to a flat event rate posted at the entrance, and street meters are free from midnight to 8 a.m. Enter your destination below to compare a reservation, the garages and the walk.
Carry your address and parking times into a price search, then compare the total and walk before booking.
On SpotHero, turn on Show total price with fees and sort by Distance. Check that the destination and both times carried over. Your budget is a reminder here; it does not filter the provider’s results.
Before paying, compare the walk and read the final total, vehicle entrance, height limit, arrival and exit rules, and cancellation terms.

City garage charges start a new day at 6 a.m., even if you arrived the previous evening. The daily maximum resets when you exit; returning starts a new stay.
Fort Brooke, 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.: at ordinary rates, one continuous stay reaches the $18 cap before 6 a.m., then adds $9 for the next three hours. That is $27 in calculated parking charges. Event prices and any extra charges are excluded; a posted event rate applies until 6 a.m., then ordinary hourly charging resumes.
For an airport trip, TPA's drive-up maximums use 24-hour periods. Use the Tampa airport Economy parking guide for those rates and trip budgets.
